Kinesiology
Kinesiology is a holistic diagnostic and treatment method that is born from various other forms of treatment. It was started originally by Dr Goodheart who was a chiropractor and who studied the principles of other disciplines such as osteopathy, dentistry, acupuncture, biochemistry and nutrition. From this, applied kinesiology has developed into an efficient, non-invasive form of treatment.
It is a system of muscle testing which enables the practitioner to pinpoint energetic, physiological and emotional imbalances in the body. Imbalances are treated using a combination of reflex massage, emotional stress release and nutritional supplements. Popular reasons for using this technique are: low energy, digestive problems, headaches, food intolerances, back, joint and neck pain, fears and phobias, difficulties reading and writing.
Following consultation I would discuss the possibility of using some of these techniques to help rebalance the body, identify food intolerances or nutritional deficiencies.
